Set amongst the Eucalypt trees with Kookaburras, Lorikeets and King Parrots as your daily guests, This property is set to impress on a number of levels. Large, glass lined living spaces, with 180-degree views from Aireys Inlet Lighthouse to Lorne Beach Pier and surrounded by trees, this stunning architecturally designed property has a feel of living in the tree tops.

Arranged on different levels the bedrooms, decks and livings spaces provide lots of opportunity to relax and have privacy on your ultimate holiday. Take a short walk down the hill to the Lorne footbridge over the Erskine River to the town centre, to get your morning paper and coffee.

A special feature of this house is the beautiful & comfortable furniture, beds and linen that have been selected to make your holiday a relaxing and carefree experience. The Kitchen has an espresso coffee maker, marble bench tops, contemporary crockery and cutlery along with stainless steel fridge and dishwasher. A gas cook-top and quality cooking utensils are also supplied.

The WOW factor in the kitchen/living space is the Tasmanian Black Heart Sassafras table seating up to 10 people. White Leather lounge suites and a large pony-ottoman, with beanbags dotted around the house, provide a happy and tranquil atmosphere.

A multi head air conditioning, heating/cooling system is provided to all bedrooms and main living area. Plus a Jetmaster open fireplace, gas heater and large LCD TV/DVD player as well as warm Jarrah floors ensure your complete comfort and enjoyment.

In the main living area a Bang and Olufsen stereo with the simplicity of Wi-Fi Playmaker will enable you to just log in and play all your favourite music from your iPhone or iPad or android device.

"Tranquillity Base is aptly named. The house is warm, inviting and a masterpiece in design. To lie in bed and see the surf crushing onto the beach from the bedroom windows through the lounge windows is an architectural gem. The many balconies and living areas provide space and yet, the house is cosy. The genuine wood open fireplace was wonderful and a great place to enjoy a red. Without doubt, one of the best, if not the best, place we have stayed at."

"We were looking to get away with our young family over 5 days for a well earned break. We booked in at Tranquillity Base in Lorne which exceeded our expectations. The elevated views were outstanding, pitched amongst the gum trees and wildlife. Enjoying a drink at the end of the day, sitting across from the open fire, listening to the B&O sound system, all added to make a perfect ambiance, while taking in the views of the Lorne Pier. The expansive glazing, interconnecting the separate living spaces and outside areas was simply amazing. For our Young Kids, they found the PlayStation 3 upstairs which kept them entertained for most of the time. We really enjoyed our stay and would thoroughly recommend this accommodation to anyone wanting to get away for a bit of R&R "
